Pinnacle buys St. Louis casino

Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. will pay a bit over $31 million to buy a riverboat casino in St. Louis, Missouri from President Casinos Inc. The casino has over 1000 slot machines and 30 table games. It is anchored in the Mississippi River near the Laclede Landing district. Pinnacle is already busy constructing its $400 million project in the downtown area. The gaming company owns Belterra Casino Resort & Spa, L'Auberge du Lac Hotel & Casino, Boomtown Casino & Hotel Bossier City, Boomtown Casino & Hotel Reno, Casino Magic San Martin de los Andes, plus others.
