Fox Sports Net will air $60 Million Poker Tournament

Fox Sports Net (FSN) has agreed to a deal to air the $60 million poker tournament that will take place in Australia at the Crown Casino. Vice president for the television network, George Greenberg, announced that the first part of the event will air on the 12th of July 2006.

There will be six players competing for the $60 million, including World Series of Poker (WSOP) champion Phil Ivey. In 2007 and 2008, the prize pools will be $75 million and $100 million respectively. They are the largest jackpots in the history of poker.
