Ameristar and Alton Belle Casinos had a great month

According to the Missouri Gaming Commission and Illinois Gaming Board, the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles, Missouri and the Alton Belle Casino in Illinois did very well last month. Belle Casino, operated by Penn National Gaming, had an increase of 10 percent which resulted in $9.6 million in revenue. The Ameristar Casino increased its revenues by 5 percent. Both casinos did better this year than last year in October.

Other casinos such as Harrah's Casino and Hotel in Maryland, St. Louis' Casino Queen and the President Casino all had a decrease in sales and visitors.
