Katrina victim wins $1.6 million

Jacquelyn Sherman was feeling very depressed because she is one of the many victims who has suffered a great deal due to hurricane Katrina. But a little trip to Evangeline Downs Racetrack and Casino in Opelousas, in Louisiana, changed all that. A couple of minutes playing a slot machine, she won $1.6 million. She won the jackpot playing "Wheel of Fortune". At first she could not believe it because she had just put in her $20. She has big plans to help everyone in her family affected in New Orleans.
