Aztar Corp. revenues increase from last year

The Aztar Corporation, operator of many casinos in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Missouri and Indiana, has generated over $240 million this year. That is a 16 percent increase from last year.

The Phoenix-based company is working on expanding the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City. There will be 200 000 square feet more for entertainment and dining. Plans for a new hotel-tower are also in the works. The company also operates Las Vegas' Tropicana Resort and Casino.
