New Slot Machines on the horizon

Last Saturday, Las Vegas' Convention Center hosted the 5th annual Global Gaming Expo which brought in hundreds of exhibitors from all over the country. One of the most popular slot machine producers, the Waukegan-based WMS Gaming company, was also one of attendees.

WMS Gaming presented over 80 new theme multi-dimensional slot machines. A new progressive slot machine based on the lottery Powerball was introduced. A 3D game named after the Tom Cruise movie "Top Gun" was also on display. It featured a Bose sound system surrounding the player's seating area.

Another soon to be favorite is the Monopoly Big Event. This gives several players a chance to win the jackpot together in the bonus rounds. Other classic slot machines like "All that Glitters" and "Kaboom" have been upgraded. Two new games, "Pyramid of Kings" and "Open the Vault" features the "cascading reels" that WMS gaming is known for. Check out the new technology at a casino near you.
