New Hotel Casino opens in South Dakota

The Indian tribe, Sisseton-Wahpeton, has just opened a $7.9 million hotel casino in the eastern part of South Dakota, near Watertown. The hotel contains over 90 rooms and a couple of large suites, which have entertainment centers and Jacuzzis. The 54,000-square-foot hotel has a breathtaking lobby with a hand-crafted chandelier.

The Dakota Sioux Casino plans to renovate its gaming area which will later include a bowling alley, a water park and a 1 500 seat theater. Renovations will take place over the next five years which will increase the casino's value up to $17 million. The Indian tribe is very excited for this project because it will boost the state's economy and create new jobs for the people of Watertown.
