Two new Casinos in St. Louis

Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. has decided to use more money in the development of their two future casinos in St. Louis. They had originally planned to spend around $500 million for both projects. Now they are planning to spends upwards of $800 million. One casino is along the Mississippi River in downtown St. Louis, scheduled to open in 2007, and the other one is located in Lemay which is planning to open its doors in 2008.

The downtown project spans over 18 acres of land. The Las Vegas-based company is also taking over the Embasssy Suites hotel. These types of investments are going to create a boost in St. Louis' economy.
